Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 Thamud, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
