So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
