So did you observe him who turned away? 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 Thamud, 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
