Have you seen the one who turned away 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 He plunged the villages 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
