Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
