To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
