The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
