▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
