▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 There shall come a Day when they will be dragged on their faces into the Fire and will be told: “Now taste the flame of Hell.” 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
