And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
