And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
