And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
