The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
