▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Anon will their multitude be vanquished, and they will turn the back. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
