Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
