Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Anon will their multitude be vanquished, and they will turn the back. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
