The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ The Merciful One 1 Bestowed the Qur'an, 2 He has created man: 3 He has imparted unto him articulate thought and speech. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning, 5 The stars and the trees prostrate themselves. 6 He raised the heavens and set up the measure, 7 That you not transgress within the balance. 8 Therefore, maintain just measure and do not transgress against the Balance. 9 He has laid out the earth for His creatures. 10 On it are fruits and palm-trees with sheathed clusters [of dates], 11 Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants. 12 Which of the bounties of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 13 He created man from clay like that of earthenware. 14 whereas the invisible beings He has created out of a confusing flame of fire. 15 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 16 [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He has set the two oceans in motion, converging together. 19 With an interstice between them which they cannot cross. 20 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 21 From these seas come forth pearls and coral. 22 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 23 His too are the ships that run, raised up in the sea like land-marks. 24 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
