The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)

۞ AR-RAHMAN 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He has created man: 3 [And] taught him eloquence. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 And the plants and the trees prostrate (for Him). 6 He raised the heaven on high and set the scale. 7 So that none may err against the scales, 8 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. 9 And He has set up the earth for all beings. 10 There are fruits of all kinds on it, and date-palms with their clusters sheathed, 11 And grain covered with husk, and fragrant flowers. 12 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man of fermented clay dried tinkling hard like earthen ware, 14 And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 16 Lord of both the Easts, and Lord of both the Wests! 17 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 18 He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]; 19 In-between the twain is a barrier which they pass not. 20 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 21 Out of them come pearls and coral. 22 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 23 To Him only belong the sailing ships, raised above the sea like hills. 24 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 25
