The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Beneficent Allah, 1 has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). 2 He created the human being 3 and He has taught him the Explanation. 4 The sun and the moon move according to a fixed reckoning; 5 [before Him] prostrate themselves the stars and the trees. 6 And Allah has raised the sky; and He has set the balance. 7 In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance. 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 He spread out the earth for the people. 10 Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates] 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 13 He created man from dry clay like earthen vessels, 14 And created jinn from the flame of fire. 15 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 16 (He is) the Lord of the two easts (places of sunrise during early summer and early winter) and the Lord of the two wests (places of sunset during early summer and early winter). 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. 19 Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. 20 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 21 There come forth from the twain the pearl and the coral. 22 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 23 His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sea like mountains. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25
