The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Allah, the Most Gracious 1 has taught the Koran. 2 He has created man: 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; 5 the stars and the trees bend in prostration. 6 and He has raised up the heaven and has set a balance 7 In order that you may not corrupt the balance. 8 And observe the weight with equity, and make not deficient the balance. 9 And He has set up the earth for all beings. 10 Therein are fruit and palm-trees with their dates in sheaths, 11 and a variety of corn with both husk and grain. 12 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man of clay like the potter's, 14 and He created the jinn of a smokeless fire. 15 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 16 Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests. 17 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 18 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. 19 and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep. 20 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 21 From both of them emerge pearl and coral. 22 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 23 To Him only belong the sailing ships, raised above the sea like hills. 24 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
