The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The Merciful 1 has taught the Koran. 2 He created the human being 3 and has taught him intelligible speech. 4 The sun and the moon follow a reckoning, 5 The plants and trees prostrate before Him. 6 and He has raised up the heaven and has set a balance 7 that you may not transgress in the balance, 8 And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance. 9 And He has set up the earth for all beings. 10 On it are fruits and palm-trees with sheathed clusters [of dates], 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man from clay like that of earthenware. 14 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. 15 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 16 The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests. 17 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 18 He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. 19 Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. 20 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 21 From both of them emerge pearl and coral. 22 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 23 His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains. 24 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
