Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). 29 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 30 Disposing all works quickly We tend towards your account, O you two large groups! 31 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 32 O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]. 33 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 34 The flames of fire and smoke will be sent on you two, then you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 36 And when the heaven will be rent in sunder and will become rosy like unto red hide. 37 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 38 On that day no sinner will be questioned about his sins, from men or from jinns. 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! 41 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 42 This is Gehenna, that sinners cried lies to; 43 In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! 44 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 45

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
