Everyone upon the earth will perish, 26 But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth seek only from Him; every day is an enterprise for Him. 29 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 30 O you twain, who are a burden (on the earth), We shall attend to you and call you to account. 31 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 (If you so venture) a flame of fire and smoke shall be lashed at you, which you shall be unable to withstand. 35 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 36 And when the heaven is rent asunder, and then becomes red like red hide. 37 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 38 On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin. 39 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 40 The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Which of the powers of your Lord, will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 42 This is Gehenna (Hell) which the sinners belied, 43 Going round between it and boiling water fierce. 44 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 45
