Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone on earth is destined to die. 26 But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 27 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 28 Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to bring forth (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to some, death to some, etc.)! 29 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 30 We shall surely aim, O both burdened. 31 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 32 O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)! 33 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 34 Flames of fire and molten brass shall be sent against both of you, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 36 And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide - 37 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 38 Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by their forelocks and feet. 41 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 42 This is Gehenna (Hell) which the sinners belied, 43 they shall go round between it and between hot, boiling water. 44 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 45

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
