When God said: "O Jesus, I will take you to Myself and exalt you, and rid you of the infidels, and hold those who follow you above those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. You have then to come back to Me when I will judge between you in what you were at variance." 55 Those who deny the truth shall be sternly punished in this world and in the world to come: there shall be none to help them." 56 As for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah does not love the harmdoers. 57 This which We recite to you is a revelation and a wise reminder. 58 Verily, the likeness of 'Iesa (Jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was. 59 (This is) the truth from thy Lord (O Muhammad), so be not thou of those who waver. 60 Therefore say to those who dispute with you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) concerning Eisa after the knowledge has come to you, “Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves then pray humbly, thereby casting the curse of Allah upon the liars!” (The Christians did not accept this challenge.) 61 Behold, this is indeed the truth of the matter, and there is no deity whatever save God; and verily, God - He alone - is almighty, truly wise. 62 But if they turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers. 63
