BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 63 Dark green with foliage. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In both of them are two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
