▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 47 With spreading branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 Wherein are two fountains flowing. 50 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 57 As though they are jacinth and coral. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Dark green with foliage. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 77 HALLOWED be thy Sustainer's name, full of majesty and glory! 78
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
