▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - 46 (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 47 With spreading branches; 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent. 76 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
