▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In both of them are two springs, spouting. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
