The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 And a few of later ages, 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,- 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 And made them virgins. 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 For the sake of the companions of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
