The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 Surrounded by immortal boys. 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers – and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 And extended shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 And carpets raised. 34 for, behold, We shall have brought them into being in a life renewed, 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
