The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 You will become three categories: 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 (and there) shall wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 like hidden pearls, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 The Companions of the Right 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 and spreading shade 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And carpets raised. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And made them virgins, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For those of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
