The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A multitude of those of old 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water poured out 31 And fruit in abundance. 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 Indeed We formed them (the houris and all believing women), 35 and made them virgins, 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 with those who have attained to righteousness: 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
