The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 there is no denying its coming 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 You will become three categories: 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In gardens of delight; 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 and a few from later times. 14 On studded thrones. 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and extended shade, 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 and made them virgins, 36 Lovers, friends, 37 for the people of the right hand 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
