The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 On studded thrones. 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 Surrounded by immortal boys. 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] 29 And spreading shade, 30 And water poured out 31 and fruit abounding, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 on raised couches. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 And made them virginal, 36 Lovers, friends, 37 For those of the right hand. 38

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
