۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 right before your very eyes? 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
