▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
