▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
