۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
