▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
