Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
