▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
