▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
