۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
