۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
