▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and that hour you are watching 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
