▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 right before your very eyes? 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
