۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
