▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
