۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
